How To Find Out Who Owns A Car By The Licence Plate Number

Public records vehicle information

Imagine what you could do if you could find out who owns the car that just drove off with your wife or your girlfriend or your husband. I’m not suggesting that they could be cheating on you of course but wouldn’t it be nice to know who they are going off with? What if you need to find someone in relation with a legal problem that you are trying to sort out? A reverse license plate search would be an invaluable tool in such circumstances.

Obtaining information about vehicle numbers that are not your own is difficult if not impossible by normal channels. This is because such information isn’t generally considered public in the same way as real estate property is. It is a relatively trivial matter to find out who owns a house so it’s hard to see why vehicles are not considered in the same way.

Public records websites are starting to gather information surrounding license plates. I have been waiting for it to happen and I do believe that I might have found a small but usable public records database that is growing and expanding it’s vehicle data rapidly.

Public records reverse license lookup

At the time of writing, the site that I’m going to tell you about doesn’t even announce that it offers reverse number plate searches. It’s so new that they don’t want to tell everyone about it yet. If you sign up to their almost free trial you will see that the vehicle options are there in your members area. The site is called
Everify.

Can you look up a license plate for free

I was told about this new search option by the owner of the database who told me that it was still experimental but that it was getting better every day. He said that they are very pleased with it’s progress. I don’t know where they get their data from but there is a very cheap trial on offer if you want to give it a try. When I looked you could still get full access to the records site for a few days for only one dollar. That’s about the closest to a free license plate search as you are going to get.

Why search for vehicle numbers?

Finding someone in connection with a court case is a common use of a license plate lookup. For instance, you might be trying to trace someone who has defaulted on payments that a court awarded you. Their car plates or vehicle identification number (VIN) can be invaluable clues when it comes to locating them.

Have you ever arrived at work and found another car parked in your space? Frustrating isn’t it? What if you could find out their name by using the license number from their car? If you could do that then you could go and have a nice quiet chat with them and let them know that they should be parking elsewhere.

Are you just curious about who owns a flash car in your neighborhood. Perhaps it’s a car that you often see cruising and you wonder if they are just young people out for the ride or maybe there is something more sinister going on. It might be worth just checking who owns the car before you call the police.

Public records vehicle and driver databases are currently in their infancy but they are growing fast. Unless you have a legitimate reason for for finding someone from their plates and you can get a police officer or a private investigator to look it up for you then public records databases are your only option. Isn’t it worth a dollar or so to find out if the number plate is in the Everify database? Go on, try it out now.

Inteligator - Unlimited Public Records

Are you looking for someone? Perhaps you have just met a new friend and you want to find out if they are who they say they are. You can’t be too careful these days can you? So how do you start searching for someone online and can it be done for free?

Now you may or not know that it is possible to look up just about anyone in the US of A by using commercial public records databases like Inteligator.  See my review of this website here.

This particular site can be used for finding people and investigating their background but it isn’t free. It is inexpensive however and you can do a lot with the low cost trial that they offer. I love how easy it is to use this site but I wanted to see if it was possible to locate people on the Internet absolutely free. I did have some success as you will see.

Finding People with the Google search engine

The first thing that I tried was to type in the persons first and last name straight into the Google search box. This simple technique can sometimes be surprisingly effective if the name you are looking for isn’t very common or the subject is famous for something. However if you are looking for someone with a common name like “John Smith” then be prepared to receive floods of irrelevant search results. Don’t give up yet though because there are ways of refining your search query to give you a better chance of finding what you are looking for.

Refining your search

The first thing to do is make sure that you are signed out of any Google services. Google have a nasty habit of modifying your search results to give you what it thinks you want based on your previous Internet activity. This is unlikely to be very helpful when you are trying to find someone who you have not searched for before. So sign out so that Google doesn’t know who you are.

The Google search engine can be very powerful in the right hands and most people have no clue about the many useful features that it offers. If you can master just a few of these search tools then you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

Start finding someone now with public records

Search by region

The first thing that you might want to do is limit the geographical area where you want your search to apply. If you know that the person you are searching for has always lived in the US then there is probably little point in searching the rest of the world for them.

To limit your search results to the US go to the Advanced Search page. There should be a link labeled “Advanced Search” at the bottom of your search results. You may need to do a simple search first before this link appears. Click on it to get to the advanced settings.

The Advanced page allows you to set various filters including “region” Select the “United States” region from the drop down menu, enter the person’s name in the “all these words” box at the top then click the “Advanced Search” button at the bottom.

The region filter isn’t 100% effective at keeping the rest of the world out but it tries it’s best for you.

Search for the exact phrase using quotation marks

If you simply type the words “John” and “Smith” into the Google box without the quotes then the results that you get will consist of pages that contain both words anywhere on the page in any order. This means that you are likely to find pages mentioning “John Doe” and “Jane Smith” and thousands of other pages like it, equally irrelevant to what you are searching for.

You can easily fix this problem by enclosing your search query in quotation marks e.g. “John Smith” including the quotes. Google will now only show you pages that have those 2 words together and in that order. This tiny modification to your search query can make a huge difference to the quality of your results. You can enclose as many words as you want in quote marks so you might want to try adding a middle name. This is worth trying but might not be very effective because most people rarely use their middle names.

Still too many results

So you have limited your search to a single region or country and you are searching for the person’s name in quotes for an exact match but you are still not getting the results that you were hoping for. What next?

Adding another word

When you type words or phrases in quotes into the search box you will get results that contain all of those words or phrases. So you can improve your search by finding a word or phrase that applies to your person but not to everyone by that name. For instance if you know where they live then you might search for ["John Smith" Alabama] or ["John Smith" Orlando]. I’m using the square brackets here to enclose everything that is typed into the Google box. This time you will get only web pages that mention the name and area you entered.

I have had some luck with this method as it tends to deliver results from address and phone directories. Most of these directories require payment before you can see all the information but often the free information is enough to confirm an address or phone number.

What is your subject known for?

Is there anything about the person that you are looking for that might make them stand out from the crowd? Is she a pilot for instance? Does she keep a pet? do you know their profession? Here are some examples of search queries that you could try: ["Jane Smith" pilot], ["John Smith" tiddles], ["John Smith" carpenter] etc. Any one of these queries could dig up gold for you when you find the right person from a social media page, professional networking site or even their own website or blog.

Searching for businesses

Finding a business online is usually a very simple task using Google, Yahoo,  Bing or even one of the lesser known search engines. Generally speaking, businesses want to be found online so they make efforts to ensure that they can be found easily. Try entering the name of the business and the location into the Google box and more often or not, you will find what you are after.

What else can you do with a Google Search?

You can do all sorts of things with a Google query. For instance you can use “OR” between words when you want to find pages with either or all of your search words. An example of this might be if you were looking for recipes that were either [Vegetarian OR Vegan].

If you put a “-” in front of a word then you are looking for pages that do not include that word e.g. [salsa -dance] meaning that you are interested in the sauce and not the dance.

Another powerful query operator is called a tilde “~”. Place this squiggle character in front of a word to find pages with words that are similar to the one you entered. So the query [~pet] will find pages with any of the words “pet”, “dog”, “cat, “Fish”, “animal” etc.

You can find a list of the basic search operators here and a more comprehensive and detailed list here

Searching for people with Google is as close to free as it gets but you do have to take the time to learn the skill of searching and then hope that the information is there to find. It can often be so much easier and quicker to use a people finder website which may provide you with far more information than you can hope to get from Google alone.

For a very small fee you can get a trial subscription to an excellent public records website called Inteligator You have very little to lose by giving it a try. You could be finding people in no time
at all.

Inteligator Review – Access Free Public Records And Background Checks

Inteligator Review Unlimited Public Records

Background check someone now

Inteligator is one of the best and most cost effective web sites for background checks and public records available to you. Unlike many similar web sites that want to charge you for each search that you do, Inteligator allows you to do as many free searches on as many people as you want. Instead of charging you for each search you just pay a small membership fee each month.

You may be wondering at this point why you would want to sign up for a monthly membership when you only want to do a background check on one person or to see if you have any arrest warrants. This is exactly what I thought before I logged in to the Inteligator site to research for this review and I can tell you that I’m totally hooked on it.

How do I find an old friend?

I wanted to do a background search on someone that I hadn’t seen for some time. Well my first search was a waste because I spelled his name wrong but I found the information that I was looking for on my second try. I found his address which is what I was after but that’s not all that I found.

I found his phone number and some names of relatives and neighbors. I could see that he is married and that he owns his own home. There is a lot more in the report but the best part was the link to a Google map where I could even find pictures of his house on Google Street.

I did try using the Birth records search a couple of times but this only gives you a list of names and ages with few details. I found that it’s best to use the Background Check search instead. This gives you the same list of people but also gives you access to the background detail which is much more useful.

Search for arrest warrants and criminal records

Search arrest warrants free with membership Now that I had found him I decided to do a criminal records search and an arrest warrant search on him too. Thankfully I didn’t find any but just to make sure that the system was working I looked up someone who I knew would have a warrant and sure enough the search found him.

Don’t stop there – check out relatives and neighbors too

By this time I was having great fun and I decided to look up his relatives and his neighbors to see if they had and criminal records or arrest warrants. They didn’t but the results from background checks on his relatives turned up the name of someone else I used to know a long time ago.

This is a web site that I’m going to be using more and more for a long time and it was easy to see how it can save you money. If you had used a site that charged you for every search you did then doing what I did to find one old friend would have cost you many months worth of unlimited searches at Inteligator.

Public Records Searches available in the members area:

  • Arrest Warrant Search
  • Arrest Records Search
  • Background Check
  • State Criminal Records Search
  • National Criminal Records Search
  • Sex Offender Search
  • Inmate Search
  • People Search by Name
  • People Search by Address
  • People Search by Phone
  • Reverse Phone Search
  • Business Search
  • Relative Search
  • Neighborhood Check
  • Birth Records Search
  • Marriage Records Search
  • Divorce Records Search
  • Death Records Search
  • Reverse IP Search

Inteligator is easy to use

The Inteligator web site is easy to navigate and remarkably fast considering that there is over a billion records in it’s various databases. You can comfortably look up background checks, arrest warrants and other stuff on several people in less than 10 minutes. The best part is that you can do as many searches as you want for free on as many people as you want as often as you want. It won’t cost you a cent more than your monthly membership fee.

You can’t afford not to have Ineligator working for you

If you are dating then you need to make sure that your dates are telling you the truth and are not criminals. If you hire people to do work for you or invite them into your house then you want to do a background check on them first. If you use babysitters or nannies then you must check them out before leaving them with your child. You might just want to locate people that you haven’t seen in a long time. Inteligator is perfect for doing all of these things and more. Can you afford to be without it? Give it a try. It comes with a very good guarantee which means that you aren’t taking any kind of risk but I think that you will want to keep your membership for a long time to come.

How To Find Out If Someone Died Or Where They are Buried

Monday, March 29th, 2010

If you only have a name how do you find out if someone has died?

Find out if someone has died now

It’s true that the less you know about someone then the harder it is to find them or to find out information about them but often it isn’t impossible. I’ll bet there have been times when you’ve thought about someone that you once knew well when suddenly you realized that you haven’t seen them for years and you have no idea where they are now or if they are alive or dead. You might be thinking about someone right now.

Not so long ago it would have been almost impossible to find your old friends unless you knew someone who knew where they were. Few of us have the money to hire a private detective to hunt them down either. Things are changing however. The Internet brings you so many opportunities and one of the great advances in recent years has been the availability of information including death records. There is masses of information available to you in the form of public records and much of it is online if you know where to look.

The problem with searching for public records online is that there is so much information available and it’s distributed all over the Internet. Sometimes it can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. You know it’s there somewhere but how do you find it.

Help is at hand

Unless you have a very good idea about what it is you are looking for and where to go to find it, you could be facing a very long period of research ahead of you. But it doesn’t have to be like this. You are not the only one with the same problems and desires. In fact millions of people find themselves wanting to find someone at least once in their lives. It’s no surprise therefore that the Internet community has come up with ways of solving this problem for you.

The easiest way of locating someone from the past is of course, to ask someone who knows. A mutual friend or relative who can give you any kind of information will be useful to you. Asking around like this might lead you straight to the person that you are looking for but if it doesn’t then you might have picked up some vital clues that could prove useful when you start your Internet search.

Save time by spending money on the problem

If after asking around you still don’t have much information to go on but you do have plenty of money to spare then you could hire a private investigator to find the person for you. Obviously the more information that you can give the PI, the easier the job is likely to be. Private investigators have been doing this kind of work for a very long time so you should get results. Today I think that their job is a little easier as they can use the Internet and public records databases just as easily as you can.

Private investigators can work out expensive and you will have to pay them whether they succeed or not. A cheaper option which might get you the results you need is to go online and use a service that specializes in finding and gathering all the public records available. Using this type of web site you can search for information from a multitude of different sources all at the same time. You might be able to find someone very quickly and at a fraction of the cost of a private investigator.

Find out anything about anyone – almost

The ability to search for public records from a multitude of different sources, in the same time that it takes to make a phone call, makes it possible to find a lot of information about a lot of people very quickly. It doesn’t always work but if you can find someone in the database then you can often learn crucial clues to their whereabouts. Death records are available for you to search in the event that the person has died.

Can I Find A Person By Using Name Only | Having Fun Finding People

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

What could be more fun than finding people you know?

Find a person online now

Have you ever spent time looking into someone’s past or digging up gossip on them? Was it fun? I bet it was. What if you could have the same fun finding information on people that you haven’t seen for some time? Perhaps you are looking for an old boyfriend or girlfriend. It would be good to locate them again or just find out what they have been up to and if they got married or not.

You can find someone by using their name only and it can be a lot of fun doing it. Here is how you can do it.

What’s the secret of locating people?

Some say that “knowledge is power”, others say that “information is power”. They are both right. If you want to find someone amongst the millions of people out there then you need information and lots of it. But information by itself isn’t enough. You also need the knowledge to be able to use that information wisely.

If you have the information and the knowledge and means to organize and search that information then you can use it for all kinds of interesting tasks such as finding people.

Public records are free but how do you find what you are looking for?

Finding people when all you have is a name is like detective work. You have to start with what you know and keep searching until you find enough clues to put the puzzle together. There is a very good chance that the clues that you need are buried in some public records somewhere if only you knew how to find it.

Public records are generally free for you to access but unfortunately there is no official central store of public records. They are kept in thousands of separate databases all over the place. Some of them are on the Internet and some of them are not. Unless you have a good idea of what you are looking for and where to go for it you can spend a lot of time going nowhere.

What if there was a place that you could go where they collect all the public records that they can get their hands on and make them available to you from one easy to use web site? It would make things so much easier wouldn’t it.

It should come as no surprise to find that there are web sites that have been collecting public records for years. Why is it not surprising? Well there is a huge demand for such a service. After all, it’s a service that you can use to find someone you are looking for and there are a lot of people doing exactly the same thing. Where there is a demand for something it will eventually be provided.

Find a person by name only doing unlimited background checks

There are a number of good public records web sites out there and I have used some of them to find people myself. I can tell you that if you are looking for someone starting with limited information like only their name, then you may need to do a lot of searches before you find enough pieces of the puzzle to find them with. That’s why I prefer to use a web site that offers unlimited public records searches for a reasonable monthly fee rather than paying for each and every search that you do.

Having used both pay-by-search and unlimited search public records web sites I can tell you that you will likely have much more fun when you subscribe to unlimited searches. Why? Because it gives you the power to do whatever and as many searches as you want to. You can search for all of your friends and look up their relatives and neighbors too. Check out your neighbors and the people that you hire to do work for you. The possibilities are endless so give it a try today.

Look for as many people as you want with unlimited background checks

How Do I Find A Cell Phone Number By Name

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

Cell phones were science fiction a few years ago

Locate a cell phone number today

We used to stare in awe and amusement at films where people would open up a suitcase to pull out a telephone handset the size of half a house and put it to their ear. Back then no one could have imagined that we would all have a telephone in our pocket in just a few years time. We were only just getting used to the idea that most people had a telephone in their house but now every member of my family has at least one cell phone in use plus the now antiquated land line in the house.

It’s only a matter of time before the land line is a thing of the past as we come to rely on the cellular phone network more and more. At the time of writing I personally have 2 working cell phones and a handful of perfectly serviceable but not used phones in my drawer. Please don’t ask why because the answer would be embarrassing if I didn’t know that I’m not the only one in this situation by a long shot.

The death of the telephone directory

Back in the day you could look up anyone’s phone number in the telephone directory unless they explicitly excluded themselves and went ex directory. The days of the printed telephone book must now be numbered. Not only does it use up significant parts of a rainforest every time a new one is printed but it’s becoming less and less important as you find yourself wanting to find cell phone numbers more often than land line numbers.

Life was much simpler back then. If someone was not at home or able to take a call at work then you could not contact them. It was a simple as that. I don’t know about you but I have lot of trouble trying to explain what life was like back then to my children who can’t imagine a world without personal communication devices. My daughter firmly believes that she could not live without hers.

Finding someone’s cell phone number

The telephone directory is becoming obsolete and it’s no good for finding peoples cell phone numbers anyway. So how do you find out someone’s telephone number today? There is no equivalent to the land line directory for cell phones. At least not a printed one and typing the number into a search engine like Google, Yahoo or Bing is a long shot at best. For this to work they would have to have published their number on a web page somewhere. this is something that you are told not to do for security reasons.

Long live the public records web site

It’s not as if the information that you need to find someone or their cell phone number doesn’t exist because it does. It must exist somewhere or else the network would not function. But where do you go to find it? The best place to start looking is a public records database organized for you online so that you can search for people using your web browser. These web sites have been collecting cell phone numbers and other public information about people for years and it’s all there waiting for you to find it. It can be as easy as entering the name of the person that you are looking to find their phone number.

How To Locate People: Find Someone On The Internet Before Its Too Late

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

Don’t leave it too long to find your friends – You might be too late

Find someone now

There’s nothing quite like a funeral to make people decide to start a family earlier rather than later or resolve to find old friends. Yes it happened to me. My father died and my daughter was born 9 months later. funerals are your wake up call to remind you that you are mortal and that noone lives forever. We had been putting off having children until the time was right – whenever that might have been – but suddenly none of our reasons seemed to make any sense anymore. My only regret is that my father never got to see his grandchild.

In some people, funerals instill a burning need to get on with life and your family. In others it reminds you of all the people that you have lost touch with throughout your life and you start to wonder if you will ever get to see them again. This can be your wake up call to take action and find the lost people in your life before you are too late. Why don’t you learn how to track people, find someone on the Internet and get in touch with them again. I’ve done it and so can you. It’s a lot easier than you think.

Some funerals affect more than just family

When someone in your family dies it might make you and a few others think seriously about your own lives, your own family and the people that you’ve known and lost touch with. When someone well known passes away it can touch millions of people and the effect are felt so much harder when the person dies at an early age or before their time.

Pricess Diana, Michael Jackson, Elvis – they all died before they should have and their passing has touched millions of people all over the world. These events not only cause lives to change, they cause visible changes in society with spikes in the birth rate and people searching for old friends.

Life is too short to put things off – Find people today not tomorrow

When you and I and the whole world witness the tragic death of a genius at only 50 years of age it makes you think. There was very little visibly wrong with Michael Jackson in fact, he was in the middle of rehearsals so the news came as a massive shock to us all. If it can happen to MJ then it can happen to anyone.

How to locate people with public records online

Would you be surprised if I told you that it’s possible to find people on the Internet by using a simple to operate web site that has most of the available free public records right there in it’s database? I know, I didn’t believe it either until I tried it out for myself.

It’s true though, you can find almost anyone, even if all you have is name sometimes. Some people can be more difficult to find than others, especially if they have a common name or you’re not sure of the state they live in but I managed to find many people without too much searching at all. Why don’t you give it a try – Learn how to locate people and find them on the Internet before it’s too late.
